How Much To Spend on a Baby Gift Basket

Recently, I had two good friends who became pregnant. Right away I knew I would have to start thinking about what kind of baby gift baskets I should buy them.  I will be the first to admit that I can have a bit of an obsessive personality, and I started to get carried away with the entire process.  I did realize, eventually, that trying to put all the items together myself for a baby gift basket was a little misguided.  

Soon, I realized that my best course of action was just to find a pre-assembled baby gift basket.  You can find some amazing and artful baby gift baskets for sale with very little effort.  By going this route I stopped driving myself crazy, and was able to move on to obsessing about other things, such as how much I was going to spend on a baby gift basket for my friends.

I wasn't really sure what my budget should be for the basket.  When I was attempting to put my own basket together, the cost was getting a little ridiculous.  Honestly I was surprised by how much money I could save by just buying a pre-assembled baby gift basket.  Then my question really became one of how much money I should spend.  

Now, I am close with both of my friends, so I wasn't really thinking, "Well I like her more so I will spend more money."  I realized that this gift is one that should be focused on the baby.  With this realization it became clear that I needed to make sure that I bought a baby gift basket that had as many helpful items in it as possible.  After all, my baby gift basket could really help a little person get a "leg up" on life.  I wanted to make sure that I bought a basket that would go a long way to helping this little person develop their brain, and be happy at the same time.  

Upon doing my research, I found a lot of really good options.  In fact, I was surprised by how many good options there are out there at a variety of price ranges.  One of the baskets that I liked the most was the Fattamano Baby Gift Basket.  It is more expensive than some of the other options, but this German imported basket is really, really nice.  What impressed me was that all the items in the basket were of a very high quality, even the basket.  It comes with a little jacket with a hood that is super-cute, which instantly sold me.  The quality of construction on the jacket and hat were really top-notch.  

There are lots of options at different budgets.  I went with a more expensive option, but I couldn't help myself.  In part, my thinking was to buy a really high quality basket that whose items would last for decades to come.  I wanted these newborns to be able to look at these gifts when they were old men and women, and reflect on their memories of their childhood.
